Find out all you need to know about us, the way we work - and our amazing products!
-
Are Lincoln Windows FENSA registered?
-
Yes, we are a FENSA registered company – so you will receive a Certificate of Registration, which may be required by a solicitor if you ever sell your home.
-
What will my quote include?
-
Our aim is to price as competitively as possible to help you transform your home. We won’t give you an initial high price before applying a major discount - a typical ‘double glazing’ sales tactic.
Each project is priced depending on your exact requirements – meaning our quotes are 100% accurate – and includes the cost of fitting. This ensures the price does not rise because of additional extras, modifications or hidden installation costs.
-
What glazing is available?
-
All products can be supplied and fitted with either A-rated double glazing or, if required, triple glazing. Both of these could help you to save money by reducing your energy bills.
-
What colours can I choose?
-
All windows and doors are available in more than RAL colour shades – so you can choose the one which is best for you. You can even select a dual-colour combination so that you enjoy one shade on the outside and a different one on the inside.
For larger projects like conservatories and orangeries, there is still a wide range of colours available but this depends on the material you want to use – uPVC, aluminium or timber.
-
Is everything made to measure?
-
Every project is bespoke made to suit your home and ensure a perfect fit. Our experienced installers always pay close attention to detail to achieve the highest-quality finish.
-
Are your products secure?
-
All our windows and doors feature a multi-point locking system offering high levels of security.
-
Will the installation process be messy?
-
As part of our happy customer commitment, we always try to work as cleanly as possible – using dustsheets to minimise the mess we make. We’ll also try to keep disruption to a minimum and leave your property exactly how we found it.
-
Will you get rid of my old windows and doors?
-
Yes, we can remove and responsibly dispose of any items we remove from your property. If possible, we try to ensure all materials which can be recycled are treated in a sustainable way.
-
Will I need planning permission?
-
In most cases, the answer is no – and home improvements can be made under ‘permitted development’ rights. Before finalising your installation, we will fully explain the installation process. If required, we will apply for planning permission on your behalf.
-
Will I get a guarantee?
-
Lincoln Windows offers a 10-year insurance-backed guarantee across our entire product range. For coloured finishes, it is set at 10 years. Should have any additional questions about any of our products or services, please call 01522 500096 – we’ll be happy to help!
